During the day there are state and federal wildlife areas within a 20 minute drive as well as historical sites, including the site of the only battle of the Civil War that occurred in Kansas. We are also a close drive away from several wineries, and many of our guests use our suite to launch an all-day wine tour. We are also close to two rail trails if you love to get out on a bike.
A country-style café is only minutes away, but a variety of restaurant options are available as well. After dinner sit on our patio and enjoy the sunset as you enjoy the warmth of a crackling fire and a glass of wine or an evening cup of coffee or hot chocolate before you turn in for another night of restful slumber.
