Designed for families as a relaxing spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, the "Hillside Hideaway" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin perched on a hill in southeastern Missouri with a gorgeous sunset view from the screen porch. We have a well-stocked kitchen, electric fireplace, free laundry, a large deck with a patio dining set, a fire pit with 8 Adirondack chairs, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family.
It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.
The cabin has been designed by the owner of Bonboni Mercantile Co an award-winning boutique in St. Louis, MO. Every detail inside and out has been thought out and designed to foster an atmosphere of rest.
There are two bedrooms and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen-size memory foam mattress and the bunk bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds (4 single beds).
Please keep in mind that this is a cabin surrounded by woods. While we regularly treat the cabin for pests and have a strict cleaning regimen, occasionally insects can find their way inside. We do our absolute best to mitigate and prevent this from happening.
