Summary: We previously lived in Ventura and come in for a quick couples date night so we are very familiar with the area. The location and access to the beach, restaurants, entertainment is great. The park has a nostalgic feel with thoughtful touches such as the corn hole set, community fire pit, complimentary coffee and s’mores, water bottles and coffee creamer in the fridge, selection of tea leaves, sleeping/eye masks on the pillows, private patios and beach comber bike access (wish we knew about the free bike usage beforehand). Our only complaint is there were no utensils/plates and the old school coffee pot in the room was a hassle. Why have a BBQ pit with nothing to put your food on? Bright back leftover from a local eatery, better cut up that steak before you bring it back to your trailer. Other than that, the location is great and the feel is wonderful.
