About this space
Hey thanks for checking out our home! Last year this home proved to be a great fit for wedding groups looking to stay close to their venue - staycations with friends and family were a big hit too. This year we’ll have a couple floating docks and kayaks for guests to easily launch into Cox creek. Simply put - this house has a little bit of everything to suit your needs. R&R or fun! There are plenty of beds, social spaces, seating, dining areas, decks, rooms, and scenic views for a memorable stay.
The space
The house has a two-story deck, wet bar, an upstairs and downstairs den, a full kitchen, and three (3) bedrooms (7 beds) with 2.5 baths. There's also a 12 person dining room table off the kitchen with plenty of room for entertainment throughout the house. The private dock is off the side of the house with a floating dock for kayaks. We have a great connection with a local rental company should you desire to rent a couple paddle boards.
The house has two work stations in the event you need to plug-in with Ethernet connections and 1GB (1000Mb) internet connection throughout the house. Cable and smart TV’s are located in the upstairs and downstairs den for all your news, Netflix, and Disney+ needs. There’s even an account specifically for Airbnb guests.
Guest access
Our fourth bedroom is not available for use and will remain locked during your stay. Everything else is available to guests except the garage. The garage will remain locked as well.
Other things to note
The cottage behind the main house has two apartments that are both currently occupied with long-term tenants. Tenants in the back cottage have full access to the pier, backyard area, and the right side of the ‘V’ in the driveway. We only ask that Airbnb guests do not block the right side of the driveway so our tenants still have access to the back cottage.
Wedding groups are welcome! Parties, corporate events, and wedding ceremonies must be held offsite. Our insurance prohibits hosting events, weddings, or parties onsite. Drug use or smoking of any kind in the home or on the property is prohibited.
Allergies: We have a dog that lives with us on the property when we’re not renting.
