This classic Lake Tahoe cabin has everything you need to enjoy your vacation to its fullest potential. This cozy cabin has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a newly remodeled and fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of space for the whole group to socialize in the open and inviting common area. Located within walking distance of Speed Boat Beach, a small neighborhood beach, as well as downtown Kings Beach, this place has everything you need to enjoy your time here.
The Space:
This cozy and comfortable cabin is perfect for the whole group to relax together by night and enjoy all that North Lake Tahoe has to offer by day. The 4 bedrooms and 2 baths provide enough room for a large family or a couple's getaway. The downstairs queen room is large and tucked in the back of the house, so it is very quiet. The upstairs single queen room is also large and is separated from the other bedrooms. The other two upstairs bedrooms, although small, are very comfortable and still have plenty of space for everyone to get a great night of sleep. All of the mattresses in the house are brand-new foam mattresses, so a good night's sleep will be easy to come by!
In the newly remodeled and fully equipped kitchen, you will find granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, plus all of the kitchenware you’ll need for home cooked meals. In the social and open living room there is plenty of seating, comfortable couches, a flat screen TV, and a wood burning fireplace to snuggle up to in the winters. Outside you will find a large picnic and barbecue area with a wrap around porch. The house sits on a quiet road and has a big back yard (please note that this yard is not fully fenced in). If you plan to mix work with play, the home has high speed internet at 400Mbps. Even with all of these comfortable amenities, it is the location that you really cannot beat.
During the summer, enjoy an easy walk to the famous Speed Boat Beach, a small beach known for its crystal-clear blue water. There is almost no public parking for this beach, so being able to walk to it is a real treat. Please be aware that this beach is not pet friendly and our back yard is not fenced in. Kings Beach is where you will also find big sandy beaches with every kind of water toy rentals, grocery stores, picnic areas, farmer's markets, outdoor concerts, great restaurants, and cute shopping boutiques. For the winter months, you are only 20 minutes from Northstar ski resort and 15 minutes from Diamond Peak ski resort. The house also has a large flat driveway and is located on a flat and well plowed street, so getting out early for those powder days will not be an issue! If you are not too tired from a fun day outside, the house is also less than half a mile from the Nevada state line, where you will find casinos and concert venues.
If a comfortable home with a great location to enjoy Tahoe any month of the year is what you are looking, for, this is the vacation rental for you!
Here are a few quick things that should be noted:
- We have a limit of 75lbs worth of dogs. (i.e. three 25lb dogs, two 40lb dogs, or one 75lb dog) with a maximum of 3 dogs at a time. If you would like to see if we are willing to make an exception to this rule, feel free to message us and ask :) The backyard is not fenced, and the nearest beach is not dog friendly.
- It frequently snows in Lake Tahoe from November to April. It is your responsibility to know the weather and be prepared for it. We do not give weather-related refunds.
- This is a child-friendly rental, but it is your responsibility to bring all of the necessary equipment for their safety and comfort. We do not provide cupboard locks.
- We allow a maximum of 9 people and 4 cars to stay on the property. Parking on the road is illegal year around, and you will get ticketed and towed if you try.

The Neighborhood:
This charming hideaway is in an unbeatable location for enjoying all that Tahoe has to offer. During the summer, enjoy an easy walk to the famous Speed Boat Beach. This beach has no public parking, so being able to walk to it is an added bonus of staying at this home! Or head over to King’s Beach just a mile from the home and spend the day on the big sandy beaches where you will find every variety of watercraft available to rent for some water fun! This funky little beach town area has plenty of entertainment and dining options for you to enjoy with a wide variety of restaurants to dine at, cute boutiques and a farmer's market for shopping, and free concerts that happen in the summer. If there is a golfer in your group, they will love the fact that the home is only a five-minute drive away from the Brockway Golf Club course. In the winter the golf course is open for XC skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and dog walking. For the winter months, you are less than and 15 minutes from Diamond Peak ski resort.
Looking for a little less outdoor activity on your vacation? The home is only half a mile from the Nevada state line where you will find casinos and concert venues. Or, make the 25-minute drive into Tahoe City where you will find grocery stores, a wide variety of places to eat, cute boutique shops, a movie theater, a beachfront park, a farmers market, and live music. With its easy access to town, ski resorts, golfing, and the lake, this home is a great home base for the ultimate North Lake Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
Getting Around:
The home is within walking distance of the public transportation TART, with the closest stop just a five-minute walk from the home. This stop is on the Mainline and is stop Hwy 28 at Stateline Rd (Shelter) and will take you into Tahoe City within 25 minutes. Or make the short drive down to King's Beach, where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 28 and HWY 267 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City.
Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Other Things to Note:
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow.
