This Beautiful Home is a 7 bedroom, 5 bathroom beach themed spectacular lake view home in Invermere, BC. It's the perfect getaway for bringing families or groups together, sleeping up to 10 people comfortably. Located in the quiet community of Timber Ridge, 5 minutes drive from down town Invermere and 20 min from the Panorama Ski Hill. The home has vast unobstructed south facing views of Lake Windermere, with a large yard for children, and a green space beyond the yard with a walking trail that will take you down to the lake at a child’s pace in 10 minutes. Timber Ridge is renowned for its private green space, tennis courts, beach volleyball court, playground and picnic area with one of the best beaches on the lake, which is all accessed by the walking trail from our yard or a quick 5 minute drive down a gated road.
The main floor of the home features a bright new open concept kitchen with a dining table for up to 10 with leaf inserted, 2 full bathrooms and one ½ bath, 4 beach themed bedrooms: one with 2 twin beds, 1 Queen Room with sliding doors to the deck, 1 with single over double bunks, 1 Master King bedroom with sliding doors to the deck and view, and a water closet ensuite.
Snuggle up in the cozy living room with recliner, couch and love seat watching SportsNet, Netflix, and Prime Video on the big screen TV with a wood burning fireplace for those cool nights and a sunroom to relax in with your morning coffee taking in the stunning views. Exit through the sliding doors leading to the large deck with expansive lake and mountain views, a hot tub for 9, abundant patio furniture for you and all your friends and family and dining for 6 to take in those spectacular views. The yard and green space can also be accessed from the deck.
The lower level of the home boasts those same expansive views, open concept living room and Ping Pong table, wet bar area, wraparound couch, games table, fireplace and big screen TV with all the streaming channels. There are 3 more beach or cabin themed bedrooms on the lower level: 2 with king beds and 1 more twin over double bunk room. There are 2 more full bathrooms, a washer/dryer for your use and sliding doors opening to the yard and shady sitting area. There are plenty of beach chairs and toys, floaties for kids and beach towels for your use.
The Timber's Edge Retreat has 2000 sq/ft upstairs, as well as 1700 sq/ft on the lower level and a 1000 sq/ft deck with private fenced yard, and now offers AIR CONDITIONING to all areas of the home!
There is ample free parking for up to 6 vehicles in the front driveway, on a very quiet street where children play, families bike and pups are walked. Fall asleep to the sound of birds or wind in the trees with the windows wide open to allow the fresh mountain air in, knowing that this is a safe, quiet family neighborhood with enforced noise rules.
During the winter months, the community of Timber Ridge offers easy access to Windermere Lake’s 30km skating loop, private areas for hockey games, and a cross country skiing loop. The frozen lake also hosts fishing derbies and curling games. You can even walk or skate to town over the frozen lake in 10 minutes from the beach area!
Invermere is 15 minutes from both Fairmont Hot Springs and Radium Hot Springs Pools and 30 minutes from the ski resort Panorama which has fantastic skiing in the winter, hiking, golf and biking trails in the summer. Nearby all around the Windermere Valley there are small fishing lakes, hiking, biking and sight seeing in the Kootenay National Park.

** The top (2nd) floor of the house is locked off for owners, but never used while guests are staying. The Main and Lower walkout floors are fully and privately available to guests and all 7 bedrooms, as the pictures portray.
** There is no cable TV available, but high speed internet and smart TVs to watch your favorite streaming services. Note SportsNet is available through Prime
** Guests do NOT have access to Timber Ridge Boat Launch or Marina and may not use any Marina Slip at any time (community rules). Guests WILL have access to Walking Paths, Greenspace, Common Area, Beach, Playground, Doggie Beach and Tennis Courts/Basketball Court.
**A Stay Tax and GST Tax is now required to be collected for any short term stay in Canada as of April 2022.
