A relaxing year-round mountain retreat conveniently located near all that the Truckee/Tahoe area has to offer. This bright 3 bedroom home (+ Den/4th bed area) is spacious and open. Primary suite is on its own floor. The well-equipped kitchen, dining and 2 living areas are all connected and enjoy beautiful views of Castle Peak and the Sierra crest. Outdoor living spaces are private, landscaped and inviting. Walking/hiking trails are right off the back of the property.
Located in the Glenshire neighborhood, there is a market within walking/short driving distance, a pizza restaurant and trails that run throughout the community including the beautiful Glenshire pond loop trail. The paved Legacy Trail that meanders along the Truckee River is nearby that connects to downtown Truckee and beyond.
Room for 4 cars to park in our driveway, one car can park in garage. In the summer it is a great idea to bring or rent bikes. You can ride bikes to downtown Truckee via the Legacy Trail. Ski resorts are nearby: Northstar 20 minutes, Palisades 25 minutes, Lake Tahoe 25-30 minutes, Truckee River- 5 minutes, Reno Airport 45 minutes.
