Dragon Ranch is our special 250+ acre private nature preserve just 1 hour East of Dallas, TX and built on a natural oasis with forests, 7 ponds, and a private lake.
There are miles of secluded hiking trails, fishing (largemouth bass, perch, crappie, catfish) and boating (canoes/kayaks/paddle boat). Modern art sculptures throughout the property. Visit our many animals including zebras, horses, Nigerian dwarf goats, red deer/elk hybrids, llamas, wild pony, and buffalo. Large (48' long) resort-style pool with waterfalls at the main house available for guests in season. (Communal pool; private pool times provided)
The "Poker House" is privately nestled in the woods and uniquely built with reclaimed materials and cowboy decor. (And, yes, there is a full felt-covered poker table) Full kitchen with cooking and serving equipment, downstairs bedroom has 2 double beds and a full bath, upstairs bedroom (king bed) with adjoining loft room (2 double beds) has a second full bath. Living area with lofted ceiling and room for a cot. Washer/Dryer on the lower level. Outdoor porches with tables/chairs in front; back patio extends into the woods. Outdoor charcoal grill, gas grill available. Firepit in a clearing in the woods next to the house stocked with firewood. Roku TV in living room (set to "guest" mode so guests can use their own preferred entertainment providers such as Netflix).
