The home is designed for families and small gatherings of up to 11 people. If you are looking for an un"bear" ably relaxing vacation filled with hiking, fishing, boating, games, fun and amazing views from all three patios, then this is the vacation spot you have been looking for to book for your family. We are a very short walk (or quick drive) away from the private marina access and lake, just across the street and down to the crosswalk. There are many adventures and sights to see within the Bass Lake area. Franklin's Place is a three story, one of a kind, woodcrafter's dream home! The beams and staircase railing were carved by the original builder, Jack, whose picture adorns the wall downstairs.
From top to bottom this home has something for everyone. You will “bear-ly” believe the character(s) in this home. Spot "Franklin", the carved wooden bear who serves as the home mascot, and pose with his cardboard cutout in the custom Social Media frames out on the middle balcony. This home has been creatively decorated for the young and young at heart.
As an added bonus, various inflatables are provided for guest use (see pictures). These inflatables will likely differ from what's in the pictures from season to season, and are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are also various indoor and outdoor games.
