Home of the Ringling Bros. circus from 1884 to 1918, there’s evidence of these famous former residents all around town - make your first stop the Circus World Museum, just one-half mile away. Afterward, stop in at the Driftless Glen Distillery for a tipple, or head over to the historic downtown square to peruse the many locally owned shops and restaurants. If you’re in the mood for a hike, Parfrey’s Glen is a little over seven miles away and picturesque Devil’s Lake is around five miles outside town.
At the home itself, spend warm summer mornings sipping coffee on the tree-lined deck, then step inside to the full, well-equipped kitchen to make some breakfast when hunger strikes. The cozy main floor features high ceilings, abundant natural light, and hardwood floors.
Spend the day exploring town, then unwind at home while you stream the latest release or play a board game at the dining room table.
