Midcentury cabin nestled in a forested setting and year-round creek plus peak-a-view of the lake!
Built in 1950, this old Tahoe charmer has been partially updated to include a gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric range/oven and full-sized fridge with top freezer. Filtered lake views from back yard & deck as well as two of the bedrooms.
Outside is not the only space capable of entertaining! Create a tasty frozen beverage at the built-In bar in the living room before grabbing one of the many games or puzzles provided in the cabinet below. Then head on over to the dining room with seating for 8 and easy access to the kitchen.
Home sleeps up to 8 guests in 2 downstairs bedrooms and another 2 sleeping rooms up top. The lower floor back bedroom has a plush queen bed and a nice vanity area for getting ready in the morning. The front lower floor bedroom has a double/full bed for two and an oversized closet.
The entire upstairs area is accessed via a steep set of stairs that come down between the living room and dining area below. You pop up into an attic like space with a dormer window facing the front and a door to the exterior stairs at the back bedroom. The front bedroom has 2 single beds and a dresser. In order to reach the back upper bedroom with the door to the outside you have to pass through this front bedroom and past the 1/2 bathroom and a large closet. The back bedroom is equally as large but faces the back yard. It has a window to the forest, 2 dressers and another 2 single beds.
Lot has plenty of parking for 6 vehicles in the abundant u-shaped driveway. Home also has wireless internet, cable TV with streaming capacities, plenty of in the living room. This is a home to get away from it all and enjoy nature and all Tahoe has to offer.

THINGS TO NOTE:
*Like most homes in Tahoe, there is no A/C and some of the home's windows are older so, the cabin can certainly be warm in the summer. Plan on using the fans provided and opening the doors to allow for a through-breeze. We turn the fireplace off in the heat of summer so as to not contribute to making the cabin any warmer so you will not be able to use it during June, July or August.
*The water heater is 30 gallons. Small for a group of 6-8.
*Stairs to loft sleeping area are quite steep.
*Road to cabin is very steep and fairly narrow. During the winter we can advise you to an alternate route.
*Home is equipped with Bear Deterrent Electric Wires that must be deactivated before entering. Please see rental agreement or MINI APP for complete instructions
